Electro-osmosis (non-thermal) dehydration

is a technology that can bring sludge / cake

to greater than 50% dry solids without heating.

Sludge Dehydrator to greater than 50% Dry Solids

This 2:00 minute video describes the process.

In 3-minutes ELODE reduces the weight 67% by removing 1250lbs of water for every ton of sludge.

This process alone will reduce your costs of hauling and tipping significantly. The weight and volume will reduce the number of haul trucks needed from 3 trucks to 1 truck, no matter the size of your operation. Environmentally significant reductions in diesel exhaust and (GHG) green house gases such as CO2 and methane

ELODE MACHINES ARE AVAILABLE IN 4-SIZES TO FIT YOUR REQUIEMENTS AND BUDGET

This is where thermal drying begins.

When starting with a consistent 50% dry solids there are significant cost reductions.

This includes less time to dry and no concerns with fluctuating dry solids percentages.

Smart Dry Sludge Dryers are Capable of reaching greater than 90% Dry Solids

Meeting All EPA & State Requirements for

"Class A" Biomass Solids

Dryers are fitted with redundant sensors and measure all critical processes. The sensor data is monitored remotely for PM schedules

This 3-minute video provides a view of the Smart Dry dryer and pelletizing equipment and processes. Their efficiency is unsurpassed.

Taking biomass to greater than 90% dry solids, "Class A" biosolids allows use for EPA and States standard uses as a soil enhancement. Pelletizing is an option, however it makes for a clean easy to handle recycled product. This equipment is key to upcycling with little to no waste, creating environmentally safe products.

Rapidly rotating throwing blades constantly keep the sewage sludge in a cloud of material in the drying chamber. This process creates the maximum surface area for the product. Hot exhaust gas at approx. 300°C is blown into the material cloud. The high thermo-kinetics lead to turbo drying. The sewage sludge is dried from 75% moisture to a residual moisture of 10% within a few minutes. MORE...

Process produced SYNGAS used for self sustaining thermal process fuel significantly reduces process costs.

Carbon pellets having a "large surface area" adsorb water and can be infiltrated with soil nutrients.
